Join NAMI GMV\, Muscatine County Public Health\, and Make It OK; Muscatine for a full day of events with Johnny’s Ambassadors Founder & CEO\, Laura Stack. \nThe first event\, a Lunch & Learn Seminar\, will take place from 12:00-1:00 PM. Pre-registration is required for a lunch reservation. \nThe second event\, a Student & Parent Presentation\, will take place from 2:00-3:00 PM. Registration is not required. \nThroughout the day\, you will hear Laura’s personal story and the research behind her mission to educate parents and teens about the dangers of high-potency marijuana products. Those who attend will learn about the harmful effects of THC on adolescent and teen brain development and the connection between adolescent marijuana use and mental illness. \nTO REGISTER: Scan the QR code! This is the Quad City area’s largest mental health advocacy and fundraising event. \nAnyone is welcome to walk for free. This is a fundraising event to support NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley’s free education and support programs in eastern Iowa and western Illinois. Program participants are never charged to receive our help. Register a team and consider fundraising to support families so that no one ever walks a mental health journey alone. \nRegistration & Activities begin at @ 8:30 a.m.\, which includes vendors\, a kid zone\, a dog zone & music.
