NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley relies on volunteers to support its community outreach, education and support programs; as well as advocacy and fundraising efforts.
We serve eight counties in the Quad Cities area: Henry, Rock Island and Mercer counties in Illinois, and Jackson, Clinton, Scott, Cedar and Muscatine counties in Iowa.

Teach:
If you have lived experience with mental illness, we are looking for family/friends and peers to train and teach our nationally-developed education classes. Open to previous graduates of NAMI Signature Education programs. MUST have lived experience with a serious mental health condition.

Community Awareness & Outreach:
Let’s spread the word that NAMI helps families and peers through education and support programs. We are able to speak and exhibit in a variety of community settings including civic, faith-based, minority and health-related organizations.
Events:
Help with NAMIWalks or other events NAMI sponsors. Raise funds, promote, or help with day-of-event logistics.
