We’re a small organization, powered by the experience and dedication of volunteers who have lived experience, providing empathy, information and hope.
The partnerships our organization forms is critical to our success for expanding our education and support programs in eastern Iowa and western Illinois.
Funding for our programs come from local governmental agencies such as Rock Island and Henry County Mental Health 708 Boards, and the Eastern Iowa Mental Health Region. Private foundations are also important in supporting programming and capacity building. Such foundations have included the Quad Cities Community Foundation, Regional Development Authority, The Moline Foundation, Rock Island Community Foundation, Doris & Victor Day Foundation, Rauch Family Foundation, Greater Muscatine Community Foundation, and Theisens Stores.
Programming partners also bring support to us including UnityPoint Robert Young Center, Trinity Muscatine Department of Public Health and Henry County Mental Health Alliance.
Finally, critical operations are funded by some 50 sponsors through our annual NAMIWalks, donors through the John Deere Classic Birdies for Charity drive, individual donors and fundraisers by community groups on our behalf.
Funds raised here in our community, stay here for these no-cost education and support programs.
