Broken Like Me. NAMI GMV Annual Meeting

Joseph Reid, author of “Broken Like Me” brings a powerful mix of personal experience and easy-to-use tools for living with a with mental illness.

He has been hospitalized for depression three times. He will share his Four Words to Move Forward on how to communicate with professionals and loved ones when you are emotionally at rock bottom and teaches how to “You-utilize” your own unique talents and abilities to get moving in the right direction.
This presentation is created to normalize the discussion around mental health. It is designed for those who struggle with a mental illness and for those who find themselves going through a period of life where they are feeling broken … like him.
This event is free to NAMI GMV members. All others $5 online or at the door. Books available for purchase $15 and author will sign. Presentation starts promptly at 6 p.m. with Q&A at 6:45 p.m. Book signing 7:30 p.m.
