SUMMARY:1st Day of Family to Family Class at Esparanza Center
DESCRIPTION:Who should attend: Family members and caregivers supporting a loved one over the age of 18 who lives with a mental health condition. \nThis 12-week education program will run Thursdays from September 5 through November 21\, 6 to 8:30 p.m. It is offered at no cost to participants. \nThis program is nationally developed and federal-agency approved. A grant from The Rock Island County 708 Mental Health Board makes this program possible. \nAll registrants will be contacted 1 to 2 weeks before classes start by an instructor for a phone screening \n\nRegister Online. \n\nOr call 563-386-7477 ext.266 M-F 10-2. Registration ends September 12 (up to Class 2) if space is available.\nConditions covered are: Depression\, Bi-Polar Disorder\, Schizophrenia\, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder\, Panic Disorder\, Post Traumatic Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.\n\n\nThe program is taught by trained family members who have been trained to become instructors after being empowered as a result of taking this course. Many describe this program as life changing.
