During this presentation, participants will gain a better understanding of the Early Childhood Care Coordination Liaison role and how trauma-informed care is integrated into family support services. Grace, as the current Early Childhood Care Coordinator Liaison, will lead the presentation by sharing how direct family support, care coordination, and resource navigation help families achieve stability while minimizing re-traumatization.
Linda will also highlight how this work aligns with the 6 Principles of Trauma Informed Care. As the previous Early Childhood Care Coordinator Liaison from 2022 to 2025, she completed the St. Ambrose Trauma-Informed Care Micro credential, which informs her approach to family engagement and long-term stability. She now supervises the program and holds the role of home visitor.
Meeting will take place via Zoom.
