My Ascension Community Screenings

My Ascension is a feature-length documentary sharing the story of Emma Benoit, a Louisiana teen who survived a suicide attempt and became a mental health advocate. The film explores youth mental health, suicide prevention, recovery, and the importance of honest conversations surrounding mental illness.

Through personal storytelling and expert insight, the film encourages connection, awareness, and hope.

About the Film

NAMI Greater Mississippi Valley has community screening rights for the 2026 calendar year and is available to partner with schools, organizations, workplaces, faith communities, and other groups interested in hosting a screening experience.

Depending on the audience and setting, screenings may include:
