Who should attend: Family members and caregivers supporting a loved one over the age of 18 who lives with a mental health condition.
This 12-week education program will run Thursdays from September 5 through November 21, 6 to 8:30 p.m. It is offered at no cost to participants.
This program is nationally developed and federal-agency approved. A grant from The Rock Island County 708 Mental Health Board makes this program possible.
All registrants will be contacted 1 to 2 weeks before classes start by an instructor for a phone screening
The program is taught by trained family members who have been trained to become instructors after being empowered as a result of taking this course. Many describe this program as life changing.
