Bags Tournament Starts at 12pm
The entry fee per team is $40
This gets you into the bags tournament and the rest of the day along with an event t-shirt.
The top 4 teams will receive the following prizes:
1st Place- $200 cash prize and Chief’s Apparel
2nd Place- $100 Chief’s Gift Certificate & Chief’s Apparel
3rd Place- $50 Chief’s Gift Certificate & Chief’s Apparel
4th Place- Chief’s Apparel

1st Day of Family to Family Class at Esparanza Center
Who should attend: Family members and caregivers supporting a loved one over the age of 18 who lives with a mental health condition.
This 12-week education program will run Thursdays from September 5 through November 21, 6 to 8:30 p.m. It is offered at no cost to participants.
This program is nationally developed and federal-agency approved. A grant from The Rock Island County 708 Mental Health Board makes this program possible.
All registrants will be contacted 1 to 2 weeks before classes start by an instructor for a phone screening
The program is taught by trained family members who have been trained to become instructors after being empowered as a result of taking this course. Many describe this program as life changing. Join the thousands of families who have gained information, insight, understanding and empowerment from attending this signature program.
Course topics include:
Family response to trauma
Diagnosis & dealing with critical periods
The biology of the brain; emerging scientific discoveries
Problem solving workshops
Medication review
Understanding the inner experience of living with a mental health condition
Communication skills workshop
Self-care
Rehabilitation; services available
Advocacy; fighting stigma
